System Requirements

 

     Overview:
 
  PHONIX utilises your existing computer network and analogue telephone system. The diagram below shows a simple single incoming telephone line Phonix setup. Place mouse over diagram for descriptions of the various components.

 

 

 

 
  • When using the CLI box provided, Phonix will work with UK standard analogue telephone lines as supplied by BT, NTL or TeleWest. ISDN lines are not supported.
  • CLI boxes can be supplied which will monitor either 1, 3 or 6 incoming lines (caller ID must be installed on each incoming line)

  • Phonix Server software should be run on a separate workstation on the network, this PC must be running Windows 95 or above but otherwise can be a fairly low specification PC.
