     Advanced Features:
 
 
  • Sage Sales and Purchase Account Contacts are automatically created in Exchange and synchronised.
  • Sage Order information can be automatically added to Exchange Contact records or Journals can be created.
  • Phonix reads Contact Information from Outlook / Exchange Folders, Sage Sales and Purchase Ledger contacts, ACT! databases  and from any Access format (mdb) database.
  • For Sage Line50 contacts, Account information is also displayed by the Client and the optional Order module allows a Sage Order to be created directly from within the client without Sage having to be loaded on the PC.
  • All incoming and outgoing calls are automatically logged to an Exchange Journal Folder and linked to the Contact record enabling simple tracking of all Contact with a client. (excludes TAPI version of Phonix)
  • Laptop users can have access to Customer Account data when out in the field by synchronising their folders.
 
 
     Who uses PHONIX software?
 
  Phonix software can be used in all types of organisation. It is of particular use in the following situations:
  • companies which do not have a dedicated switchboard operation, where anyone can pick up an incoming call. 
  • a sales desk which uses a number of incoming lines.
  • companies which need to log telephone calls for billing purposes.
  • companies with sales staff 'in the field'

Since the initial design of Phonix we have added features and functions to meet a broad range of customer requirements. In addition, we provide a number of ways in which other applications can  integrate with Phonix such as developer hooks and command line interfaces. 

If your requirement includes functionality not currently provided by Phonix it may be possible for our developers to build a custom solution for you. 

As a guideline, development time is charged at £300 per day. There is a minimum charge of 10 man days for anything other than very simple requirements. This covers initial specification of the requirements, prototype design and final release. Support for 1 year for the solution is included.
